Month Calendar

Submissions for Westland Writes 2025 will be accepted from April 1 to April 30, 2025. Each writer will receive a free copy of the book! Each writer may submit up to 2 poems or 1 short story or chapter.

Attendees will get a practical, fast-paced introduction to the world of book publishing. You will leave with actionable steps to bring your books to life and the confidence to embark on your publishing journey. Presented by Talesha Wright.

The defeat of Nazi Germany in early 1945 was a cause for celebration after nearly six years of a war that ravaged Europe. In towns and cities across the world, people rushed into the streets to celebrate.

Come to the library to see live farm animals and take a pony ride!  This is an event for the whole family!  Bring your cameras and smiles!
