For Kids in grades 3-5.  In this fun, interactive activity, students learn the history of money as well as the security features on bills used to prevent counterfeiting.

Grades 3-8

Challenge yourself by learning and improving at the game of chess!  For beginners and experienced players in 3rd-8th grade. Bring your own chess set or use one of ours. No registration.

Preschoolers ages 3.5 - 5 yrs. old, who are not yet in Kindergarten, can attend an independent storytime designed especially for them.

Ages 3 & up, with a caregiver.

Listen, sing, and stretch along to stories with your child!  No experience necessary.  Bring your own mat or borrow one of ours (while supplies last).

Please support the Wayne-Westland Kiwanis Club by donating at our Kiwanis Kids Used Book Fair on Sun., April 6 from 1:00-3:00pm!  Books will be for available for babies, toddlers, school-age kids, and teens!  

Come close the day with 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, and stories followed by a 15 minute craft!

Calling all 3rd & 4th Grade readers!  Join us for stories, snacks, and lots of FUN!  This month, read The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate and come prepared to share.  Copies available at the Youth Desk.

Do you love to read?  Book Club is a great way to spend an hour with other kids who share your love of books!

"Be the Artist" in this program where we will create fun art pieces based on some of our favorite picture book illustrations!  Ages 4-Grade 1. Parents are encouraged to stay and help their child during the program.

The Kindergarten - Second Grade Book Club is a chance to discuss books, engage in exciting activities, and share with friends!  We will read the book out loud during the program so there is no pre-reading required.
