Submissions for Westland Writes 2025 will be accepted from April 1 to April 30, 2025. Each writer will receive a free copy of the book! Each writer may submit up to 2 poems or 1 short story or chapter.

Norman “Turkey” Stearnes is a Negro Leagues legend. He is most well known for his time with the Detroit Stars, his home run hitting and his athleticism in centerfield.

With so many businesses tying their services to mobile phone apps, having a smartphone is almost entirely necessary. When it comes time to choose which phone you want, there is one question you absolutely have to answer: Android or iPhone?

Bring your own book (or magazine, or newspaper, etc.)! This book club has no assigned book, reading deadlines, or traditional discussion. Bring your own reading material and enjoy the company of fellow readers.
