The book we will be discussing is The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

Presenter Nancy Paton will discuss the obstacles that keep us from moving forward in the pursuit of our passions and cherished goals. She will include examples of how symbolism and dreams can guide us on our journey.

The Detroit Institute of Arts is providing free round-trip transportation from the Public Library of Westland to the DIA for a chance to explore the museum with a self-guided tour.
