Event Details

Learn the principles of the Winter Sowing Germination Method to grow your own plants from seed by storing them outdoors all winter. After a short presentation, you’ll understand how to use recycled containers, potting soil, and seeds to start plants that you can transplant into your garden or share with others. Each participant will start one "winter sown" jug of their own with seeds from the Westland Seed Library to take home with them.
