The Teen Book Club is open to teens in grades 7-12. The reading level and content of the books will be geared towards high school students. We will read new books every month and enjoy different activities and snacks based on the books.

Bring your own book (or magazine, or newspaper, etc.)! This book club has no assigned book, reading deadlines, or traditional discussion. Bring your own reading material and enjoy the company of fellow readers.

Here's how it works:

Learn how to make fun designs with Perler iron melt beads. 

This program contains small pieces, so please be sure to stay with your children at all times.

Wayne County Parks will be in the lobby to discuss the habits of Michigan animals in the winter.  Stop by anytime between 11AM-1PM to chat and view skulls, skins, tracks, and more.

Sing, play, and move along with your child!  Your little one's natural rhythm will shine in this interactive music program for ages 1-5, with a caregiver.

Build strength and flexibility along with a calmer mind in this gentle yoga class with instructor Amy Poupard. Amy has been teaching yoga for 5 years and is experienced in accessible yoga for all ages and abilities.

Parent and child will create a family photo calendar for 2025!  All supplies will be provided.  You can add your photos when you get home or display as is!

Come close the day with 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, and stories followed by a 15 minute craft!
