The Science of Beer

Are you a beer aficionado? Are you curious about the process to create the refreshing beverage you love? Stop by the library to hear from Johanna Griest, a professor at Schoolcraft College’s Brewing and Distillation program, about the science and decisions behind the beer brewing process. A tasting of beer brewing elements will follow the presentation.

Johanna Griest is the Manager of Science Labs at Schoolcraft College. In addition, she is a professor in the Brewing and Distillation program and teaches a Brewing Science class.

Registration is required for this program.
