Event Details

Writing your life story is an important part of your writing journey. Whether you are a new writer, or one that has been crafting scenes from your life, this opportunity is for you. Join us for a workshop to learn about ways to add pertinent details to your story, how to share your ideas, and brainstorm. 

Cheryl Martin, MA is an award winning poet, writer, fine art photographer, and upscale artist. She was an Honors Faculty Member at Schoolcraft College teaching French, Journalism, English Composition and other classes. She's a published author of Cheryl's Musings: A Day in the Life of An Award Winning Poet and Photographer, and Haiku For You: With Some One Room School House History. Her education includes a master's degree in education from the University of Michigan, and a Graduate Certificate in Training, Dynamics and Leadership, also from the University of Michigan. She's a service-connected Army Veteran, and a Commander of DAV #13, Washtenaw County, MI.
