America's Music: A Black History Month Celebration with Rev. Robert B. Jones

Rev. Robert B. Jones, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and storyteller from Detroit, will take us on a journey celebrating how American Roots music has chronicled and helped to bring about change in American society. Beginning with the slave spiritual, working up through Rock and Roll, and continuing through Rap music, this program shows that music has always been at the forefront of American life and has much to teach us about our history and our culture.
