Join us for Homeschool Explorers! This month, we are featuring a cool STEM project!

Every month from September - May, we will explore a different activity for homeschool kids in kindergarten and up, but younger siblings are welcome.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can improve flexibility, decrease stress, and reduce joint strain.

Ages 4 & up
 

We will read a book together then do some fun food preparation! Bring an apron or smock if you have one, and be ready to roll up your sleeves!  Registration begins May 5.

Come practice speaking English at the Westland Public Library. Each week tutors from the Plymouth-Canton Literacy Council will lead the group in informal conversations designed to practice your knowledge of English.

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). We meet virtually/in person once a month to discuss library programs, online resources, and popular trends.

All are welcome to attend meetings of your local Toastmasters club! Improve your speaking and listening skills in a supportive, friendly group setting.

Like to play chess? Want to get better? Drop by for Chess Club and play a couple of games. Bring your own board or use one of ours. Novices to chess masters are all welcome. No sign-up required.
