Beginner American Mahjong

Curious about American Mahjong? Join us for this fun and friendly 3-week beginner series designed to teach you the basics of this classic tile game! Over the course of three sessions, participants will learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong, including tile identification, game setup, reading the National Mahjong League card, and basic gameplay strategies.

Registration is required for this event, and because each session builds on the previous one, participants must attend all three sessions. Participants must also bring their own current National Mahjong League card, which can be purchased online through the National Mahjong League.
