Week Calendar

Toddler Tales is an interactive program between parents/caregivers and their children ages 18 months to 3.5 years.  Enjoy 30 minutes of stories, songs, signs and rhymes with your little ones. 

No registration required.

The Westland Public Library offers a delivery service for Westland residents who are confined to their homes.

Preschoolers ages 3.5 - 5 yrs. old, who are not yet in Kindergarten, can attend an independent storytime designed especially for them.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can improve flexibility, decrease stress, and reduce joint strain.

Join us for hands-on activities involving Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!  Grades 1st- 6th, registration begins 3/31.

Come practice speaking English at the Westland Public Library. Each week tutors from the Plymouth-Canton Literacy Council will lead the group in informal conversations designed to practice your knowledge of English. 

Have you ever watched a movie, realized it was a book, went back and read the book and thought it was much better? Maybe you enjoyed the movie more than the book. Well if you've ever done this, then this is the book club for you!

Like to play chess? Want to get better? Drop by for Chess Club and play a couple of games. Bring your own board or use one of ours. Novices to chess masters are all welcome. No sign-up required.

You're invited to a poetic celebration in honor of Taylor Swift's 11th album!

Create blackout poetry, make your own desk plaque, visit our black & white photo booth, and enjoy sweet treats while we listen to the new album.

Grades 5-12.  

Come make a collage on canvas out of scrapbook paper and other fun materials.

Come close the day with 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, and stories followed by a 15 minute craft!
