Families are invited to bring a blanket and join us on the lawn of the Children's Garden for a fun and interactive storytime!  Weekly on Wednesdays from 10-10:30am, June 11 to August 13 (no storytime on July 2).

The Westland Public Library offers a delivery service for Westland residents who are confined to their homes.

Ages 3 & up.  Enjoy an hour of open-ended art!  We’ll have colorful paints, markers, stickers, and more for you to create your one-of-a-kind masterpiece!

Kiwanis International is a service club that was founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1915 to promote higher ideals in business, professional, and industrial life.

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to earn their CPR and First Aid Certification in this FREE one-day course presented by Troy Klann, a Fire Lieutenant at the Detroit Fire Department.

Join us for FREE family movies and popcorn at the library! Movies are rated G or PG and run about 90 minutes. Registration begins 2 weeks before each program date. 

Come practice speaking English! Each week tutors from the Plymouth-Canton Literacy Council will lead the group in informal conversations designed to practice your knowledge of English. 

Learn how to make fun designs with Perler iron melt beads. 

This program contains small pieces, so please be sure to stay with your children at all times. Please only register your participating children.

Like to play chess? Want to get better? Drop by for Chess Club and play a couple of games. Bring your own board or use one of ours. Novices to chess masters are all welcome. No sign-up required.

The Library's Board of Trustees meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Board meetings are held at the library and are open to the general public.
