0-2 with a caregiver

Toddler Tales is an interactive program between parents/caregivers and their children ages 18 months to 3.5 years.  Enjoy 30 minutes of stories, songs, signs and rhymes with your little ones. 

No registration required.

The Westland Public Library offers a delivery service for Westland residents who are confined to their homes.

Preschoolers ages 3.5 - 5 yrs. old, who are not yet in Kindergarten, can attend an independent storytime designed especially for them.

The lean canvas model is a tool to organize both start-up and business growth ideas to reveal a clear path by which to identify and overcome challenges to move your business forward.

Build strength and flexibility along with a calmer mind in this gentle yoga class with instructor Amy Poupard. Amy has been teaching yoga for 5 years and is experienced in accessible yoga for all ages and abilities.

Grades 7-12.

Teens will learn how to make a traditional Japanese recipe, Sushi Brown Rice Rolls with two dipping sauces! This is a vegan recipe.

The Friends of the Library meet monthly to discuss upcoming sales, their bookstore, and so much more.  Please feel free to stop in if you'd like to know more about the Friends Group.

Come practice speaking English at the Westland Public Library. Each week tutors from the Plymouth-Canton Literacy Council will lead the group in informal conversations designed to practice your knowledge of English. 

Come to the library to see live farm animals and take a pony ride!  This is an event for the whole family!  Bring your cameras and smiles!

Like to play chess? Want to get better? Drop by for Chess Club and play a couple of games. Bring your own board or use one of ours. Novices to chess masters are all welcome. No sign-up required.

Have you written stories or poems that you would like others to hear, but not critique, in a casual atmosphere? Need writing exercises or support to get you started again?

Make your own handmade bird treat using pinecones, peanut butter, dried fruit, and seeds! 

*We will have sunflower butter available for anyone with allergies.

Come close the day with 30 minutes of songs, rhymes, and stories followed by a 15 minute craft!

All are welcome to attend meetings of your local Toastmasters club! Improve your speaking and listening skills in a supportive, friendly group setting.

Join us for dinner and a movie! Registration is required. Adults 18+ only.

Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the movie will start at 6:15 pm.
