November Speaker and Topic: Rachel Nisch, Owning an Old Nursery in a New Day

Built in 1928, Graye’s Greenhouse is a much loved landmark in the Plymouth community. But as the world changes, how does a decidedly old school business keep up? Rachel tells the story of the greenhouse, what makes it special, and what it’s up against in the modern age of big box plants. Rachel will share with us the importance of sound propagation and cultivation practices, and how this can affect the quality of plants we will be tempted to bring home.
